I am kicking off my ideas for golf gifts with what I consider a classic golf gift: Golf Balls.  In my opinion, this is a good choice for any golfer.  Water hazards, woods and unseen golf gremlins seem to steal golfers’ supply of golf balls all the time.  Ask your gift recipient or someone who golfs with her frequently what golf balls she prefers and buy them.  Because the expense of golf balls has a wide range, research prices before you commit to a purchase.  Golf balls can be purchased at local and online retailers, and you may even consider purchasing AAA-rated, experienced (used) golf balls from an online store.  Electing to have the golfer’s name printed on the golf balls is a nice addition, but not necessary.   Combining golf balls with another item, such as golf tees or a golf towel, can work together for an even better golf gift.
