Scorecards, Scorecards and Scorecards
Playing golf on a regular basis requires golf tees, golf balls, equipment and scorecards. After recording my score for each hole, I also record the number of putts for each hole. I usually look over the score card to see how my putting affected my overall score. During the first summer of keeping score and tracking my putting, I had an ever growing pile of scorecards. My first impulse was to look at the results and then toss the scorecards in the trash. But, that presents a problem. What do you do with scorecards you would like to keep? I really like to keep the scorecards from outings when I beat my dad, had a low score or played a new golf course.
This led me to a new system of dealing with scorecards. Now, I post the lowest round of the year on the fridge and place any others I want to preserve in a photo album. The others have 24 hours to be reviewed and then they get tossed in the trash bin. This process has helped eliminate the pile of scorecards at our house.
