Are You Superstitious?
Some golfers have superstitions and act based on those beliefs. They may carry lucky coins, only mark their golf balls a certain way, wear golf apparel for specific days and so on. When it comes to your women’s golf game, are you superstitious? Do you have habits or routines based on your superstitions? My initial response to these questions is simply “No.” I guess the closest behavior I have to a superstition is my empathy for fellow golfers who hit shots that go in the water or sharply slice out-of-bounds. These shots occur in most of our golf games and I know how it feels. I don’t enjoy watching it happen to other people . . . it reminds me that I could be next. I am a creature of habit and would like to use superstition as an excuse for hanging on to a women’s golf hat or golf accessory, but it would just be an excuse, not really superstition.
