Ladies Golf Outing

My day started with a business meeting at a local golf club. After the weekly accountability meeting was finished, we prepared for our tee time. I changed from business attire to golf attire at the club house (black and pearl earrings with a navy golf shirt…oops) and we were off to the first tee. My head was spinning with all the tasks that had been added to my list during my morning meetings, but I tried to clear my head and focus on the golf outing as well as my awesome group. Each lady in our golf group is a professional with a lot of responsibility and a busy life; the next two hours were about the golf (and some chocolate snacks).
We played a best ball format to the green and then everyone putted individually. This helped with the pace of play and we didn’t keep score. It always amazes me how much women new to golf can improve from whiffing to hitting 70 yards in the fairway in just one 9-hole round of golf.
We laughed at our mishits and had fun celebrating one another’s good shots. This was a very positive outing and I am so glad I shared an afternoon golf outing with this group.
