What is the one golf etiquette breach that you think is completely unacceptable?  This is a very easy question for me to answer.  I do not get excited over a lot of etiquette issues.  In fact, if someone does not fix a ball mark, I simply fix it before I exit the green and move on.  As long as it gets repaired, I’m not concerned.  However, one behavior I find completely unacceptable is spitting.  It’s disgusting and the golf course is absolutely not the place for it.  I am not interested in serving as the self-appointed sheriff of Etiquetteville, but, if a person spits on the golf course, I am willing to pin a badge on my polo shirt.  When the cameras show PGA players spitting on the golf course, I wish they would literally stop play and make the player clean it up.  A fine would also be appropriate.  Who wants to follow a spitter around the golf course?  Nasty!
