Father’s Day is here and while I was in the process of selecting a card for my dad, I realized golf is a central theme in our relationship.  He and I have competed on the golf course since my high school days, during my years in college and now the competition includes my husband.  It is not uncommon for phone conversations with my dad to quickly turn to golf.  I take every opportunity to remind him that I am the better golfer; he gladly points out the reasons why he is the best golfer.  Who is really the better golfer?… I’ll just close by saying Happy Father’s Day to my dad and all the dads who have played golf with their daughters.  It is my hope that fathers and daughters will continue to connect through the game of golf.
