Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for the Golfers You Love

The pages of the calendar keep turning and Valentine’s Day is upon us.  It is time to make your Valentine’s Day purchases and below you will find some gift ideas for the golfers you love.

Gift Certificate:  Present your golfer with a gift certificate to the local pro shop.  If you know her preferred golf course or golf club, a gift certificate is a nice option that will come in handy on days she doesn’t realize she has run out of tees or golf balls.  Maybe she will use it to buy lunch in the clubhouse, a golf glove or the new golf shirt she has been admiring.  The recipient could use the gift certificate to simply cover green fees or a cart rental for a round.  In other words, a gift certificate for a woman golfer will not go unused!  Many golf courses have websites; if you have any questions or need help, just call and ask to speak with the pro shop.  They will be able to help you make the golfer in your life happy this Valentine’s Day.

Customized Golf Towel:  Consider the gift of a customized golf towel.  Golf towels come in  numerous colors and can be customized with the golfer’s name, initials or even her favorite sports team.  If you want to coordinate the color of the golf towel or text on the towel to another golf accessory, the best choice is to match it to her golf bag.

Sunglasses:  A pair of sporty sunglasses to protect her eyes out on the course and fashionable sunglasses to make her stand out in the crowd at the 19th hole would both make nice gifts.  Numerous style and price options for sunglasses are available to choose from.  Some manufacturers even design and market sunglasses specifically for golfers

Golf Balls:  Golf balls make our golf gift list for a good reason: water hazards, woods and unseen golf gremlins seem to steal the supply of golf balls for all golfers.  Ask her or someone who golfs with her frequently what type of golf balls she prefers and buy them.
